Call for participation in a survey about stroke care

This survey is conducted by the Institute of Health Policy & Management (iBMG) of the Erasmus University of Rotterdam, The Netherlands, as part of the EU funded Horizon 2020 project which aims at developing and validating a new imaging technology called Spectral Photon Counting CT (SPCCT) and contrast media (SPCCT URL).

RATIONALE: There is a need to assess the current local clinical practice in order to evaluate the cost-effectiveness of the SPCCT-based strategy for diagnosing and treating stroke patients in different European countries.

GOAL: This clinician survey is meant to assess the current diagnosis and treatment patterns of acute stroke patients in European countries.

The survey is targeted at neurologists, stroke physicians, neurointerventionalists, neuroradiologists, neurosurgeons and emergency physicians (including those completing their specialisation).

RESULTS: The results will be analyzed, reported to the European Commission and shared via a publication in a scientific journal. The responses to the survey will be collected anonymously, individual information will not be used for commercial purposes or transferred to other third parties and any information you provide will be kept strictly confidential.
